SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026 Notification for Government Jobs has been officially issued by the Staff Selection Commission for those aspirants who wish to join government service in central ministries/departments. Online applications for the post will begin from 24 April 2026 and will conclude on 15 May 2026 up to 11:00 PM. These exams are being held for Stenographer Grade C & D jobs in various departments/ministries of the Government of India. According to the official announcement, the exam will take place in July-August 2026 through the computer-based test format.

   • Grade D: 80 words per minute

SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026 Salary Structure

• Stenographer Grade C: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Level 6)
• Stenographer Grade D: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level 4)
