NCERT Recruitment: National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has released a total of 117 posts for teaching posts, which include the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Its posting will be done in New Delhi as well as Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru and Shillong centers.
Candidates who are eligible through Ncert Recruitment can fill the online forms of ncert recruitment from 31 January 2026 to 20 February on its official website https://www.ncert.nic.in/. The application fees for applying for Ncert Recruitment has been kept at Rs. 1000. Must be an eminent scholar with a Ph.D. in the relevant or related subject and a strong research background.
Should have at least 10 quality research papers published in peer-reviewed journals.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in a university or college as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, or equivalent research experience at a recognized institution.
Should have experience in guiding Ph.D. students successfully.
For Associate Professor
Must have a good academic record with a Ph.D. in the relevant or related subject.
Should have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
Must have a minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience in a role equal to Assistant Professor in a university, college, or recognized research institution or industry.
Should have at least 7 research papers published in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
For Assistant Professor
Must have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a relevant or related subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
Along with the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared NET conducted by UGC or CSIR, or any UGC-approved test like SLET or SET, or must hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations of 2009 or 2016 and their amendments, which gives exemption from NET/SLET/SET.
For Deputy Librarian
Must have a Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
Should have a minimum of 8 years of experience as an Assistant University Librarian or College Librarian.
Must show proof of innovative library services, including the use of ICT in library work.
Should have a Ph.D. in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation Science, Archives and Manuscript Keeping, or Library Computerization
For Assistant Librarian
Must have a Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation Science, or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
Should have a consistently good academic record and knowledge of library computerization.
Must have cleared NET conducted by UGC, CSIR, or a UGC-approved test like SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations of 2009 or 2016.

On the homepage, click on the “Announcement” section.
Select “Vacancy” and then choose “Academic.”
Open the ncert recruitment advertisement.
Click on “Apply Online” and complete the registration process.
Fill in your personal and educational details, then upload the scanned photograph and signature.
After filling all the details, pay the application fee to complete the application process.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic score as per UGC guidelines.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
Final selection will be done on the basis of interview performance and document verification.
