The Tier 1 exam answer sheet has been released today, 31st January 2026, on the official website www.cbse.gov.in. The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted the examination and has now shared the KVS NVS Answer Key along with the OMR sheet on the official portals of CBSE, KVS, and NVS.
Those who took part in the OMR-based written exam for 15762 teaching and non-teaching posts can now download the official response sheet and KVS NVS Answer Key pdf by using their registration number and date of birth.
KVS NVS Answer Key 2026
Around 9.6 lakh candidates registered for the exam, and about 8.5 lakh of them appeared in the offline test held on 10th and 11th January 2026. The KVS NVS Answer Key was released 20 days after the exam was completed. Candidates should download their answer key and official response sheet pdfs to check their answers and get an idea of their marks.

Step by Step Guide to Download KVS NVS Answer Key 2026
- Open the official website www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/recruitment.html or www.kvsangathan.nic.in or www.navodaya.gov.in.
- On the home page, find the text “Recruitment of Various Teaching & Non-teaching Posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti” and click on it.
- A new page will open with the link “Link for download Answer Key for Computer-Based Test for Direct Recruitment”.
- Click on the link and enter your registration number and password.
- Enter the captcha number shown on the screen.
- The KVS NVS Answer Key 2026 with correct responses will appear on the screen.
- Download the answer key and take a printout for future reference.
Raise Objection Process Against KVS NVS Tier 1 Answer Key
If candidates find any mistakes in the KVS NVS Answer Key 2025, they can raise an objection before 4th February 2026 (11:59 pm). They must submit the objection within the given time, along with proper proof and the required fee of Rs. 1000. The fee is not refundable, but if the objection is found correct after expert checking, the fee may be returned as per the rules of the authority.
After checking all the objections, the Central Board of Secondary Education will release the final answer key and then publish the KVS NVS merit list for all selected candidates.
