IOCL Engineer Selection Process 2025

The selection process for IOCL Engineers in Chemical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines consists of the following stages:

• Computer-Based Test (CBT) marks
• Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT)
• Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates will be shortlisted for the GD, GT, and PI based on their CBT scores out of 100. Only those who qualify in all three stages—CBT, GD/GT, and PI—will be considered for the final merit list.

IOCL Engineer Salary 2025

Candidates selected as Engineers/Officers will receive a monthly basic pay of Rs. 50,000 within the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000. The total gross salary, including PRP, is approximately Rs. 17.7 lakhs per year. In addition to the salary, candidates will also be entitled to benefits such as HRA or subsidized housing (based on posting location), medical facilities for self and family, gratuity, Provident Fund (PF), Group Personal Accident Insurance, leave encashment, LTC/LFA (Leave Travel benefits), and other perks.
