For Head Constable (Radio Operator)

Candidates must have any one of the following:

• Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as regular subjects from a recognized board/university with 60% aggregate marks in PCM. Or
• Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board + two years ITI Certificate in one of the following trades:

1. Radio and Television
2. Electronics Engineering
3. Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)
4. Data Preparation and Computer Software
5. General Electronics Engineering
6. Data Entry Operator

Head Constable (Radio Mechanic)

Candidates must have any one of the following:

• Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as regular subjects from a recognized board/university with 60% aggregate marks in PCM. Or

Steps to Complete the Application

Part I – One Time Registration (OTR)

1. Visit rectt.bsf.gov.in and click on the “Recruitment Opening” tab.
2. Select the post you want to apply for (HC Radio Operator and/or HC Radio Mechanic) and click Apply Here.
3. Fill in your personal details exactly as per your official certificates (name, DOB, parents’ names, etc.).
4. Provide a valid mobile number and email ID (mandatory for OTP and login).
5. Upload your scanned documents in the required format:
   • Passport-size photo (30–100 KB, JPEG)
   • Signature (20–50 KB, JPEG)
   • Educational certificates (Matric, 12th, ITI/Graduation, etc.)
   • Identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License)

Part II – Fill Online Application Form
