The official notification for BSF Head Constable RO/RM has been released, and the online application process has also started from 24th August 2025. As all candidates know, a short notice was issued earlier regarding this recruitment, which provided some basic information and mentioned the application start date. The online forms will be available from 24th August 2025 to 23rd September 2025.

Eligibility criteria

To fill the BSF Constable form, the minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 25 years. Apart from this, category-wise age relaxation is also available. Talking about the educational qualification, the requirements are different for each post, but in all cases, being 12th pass is mandatory with at least 60% marks.

How To apply BSF Head Constable RO/RM 2025 Online Form

To fill the BSF Constable RO/RM form, follow the steps given below.

Part I – One Time Registration (OTR)

1. Visit rectt.bsf.gov.in and click on the “Recruitment Opening” tab.
2. Select the post you want to apply for (HC Radio Operator and/or HC Radio Mechanic) and click Apply Here.
3. Fill in your personal details exactly as per your official certificates (name, DOB, parents’ names, etc.).
4. Provide a valid mobile number and email ID (mandatory for OTP and login).
5. Upload your scanned documents in the required format:
   • Passport-size photo (30–100 KB, JPEG)
   • Signature (20–50 KB, JPEG)
   • Educational certificates (Matric, 12th, ITI/Graduation, etc.)
   • Identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License)
   • Other category-related certificates (caste, hill area, etc. if applicable)

Part II – Fill Online Application Form

1. Enter your educational details (certificate no., board/university, year of passing).
2. Upload academic and technical qualification proofs in the correct order (Matric → Intermediate → ITI/Graduation).
3. Provide physical standard details as required.
4. If applying for both posts (RO & RM), give your preference order.
5. Check all details carefully before final submission.

Part III – Pay Examination Fee

• Pay the application fee of ₹100 per post (for Gen/OBC/EWS).
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates do not have to pay any fee.
• Payment can be made online via Net Banking, UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, Wallets, etc.
