Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria ( as of 24-08-25)
To apply for BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025, candidates must be between 18 to 25 years of age. Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates and other special categories as per the rules and instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Education qualification
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have at least passed Class 10 and must also hold an ITI certificate from a recognized institute. These are the basic requirements. Apart from this, different posts may have different additional qualifications.
• Cook, Water Carrier, Waiter: 10th pass + Food production/kitchen course from NSDC or recognized institute
• Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Pump Operator, Upholster: 10th pass + 2-year ITI in trade or I-year ITI vocational course + I-year experience
• Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, Khoji/Syce: 10th pass + skilled in trade + must pass Trade Test.

The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages, which are mentioned below:
Stage 1: Physical Test and Document Verification – Certain physical standards have also been set for this stage.

Stage 2 : Written Examination

Stage 3 : Medical test

Candidates who get appointed will receive a salary under Pay Level 3, which ranges from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100. Along with this, they will also get various allowances such as House Rent Allowance (HRA) and other benefits.
