Candidates applying for the rural home guard must have passed at least the 7th class, while those applying for the urban home guard must have passed the 10th class.

Selected candidates will be paid on a daily basis under Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment, and the current daily pay is Rs. 1,088 per day.
