MAHA TET 2026 – MAHA TET Notification 2026, Exam Date, Eligibility, Apply Online

MAHA TET 2026 notification has finally been published by Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune for aspirants who aspire to make their career as teachers in Maharashtra. As per MAHA TET Notification 2026, MAHA TET Application Form will commence from 27 March 2026 while MAHA TET 2026 last date to apply is 16 April 2026. Moreover, the exam will take place on 21 June 2026. In order to test the eligibility criteria of applicants aspiring for teachers’ jobs in Maharashtra, this exam is organized.

Educational Qualification

To apply for MAHA TET 2026, candidates must meet the following:

For Paper 1 (Class 1–5)

• 12th pass with D.El.Ed / equivalent

For Paper 2 (Class 6–8)

• Graduation with B.Ed / equivalent

How to Apply For MAHA TET 2026

2. In the homepage click on “Candidate login” buttom
3. After that a dropdown will be open, click the “ New Registration Button” button
4. Register with basic details
5. Fill the application form carefully
6. Upload required documents
7. Pay the application fee
8. Submit the form and take a printout for the future purpose

MAHA TET 2026 Total Vacancy

For MAHA TET 2026, there is no fixed number of vacancies. This exam is a teacher eligibility test, not a direct recruitment.

• Candidates who qualify receive a TET eligibility certificate
• This certificate allows them to apply for teaching jobs in Maharashtra

MAHA TET 2026 Exam Schedule

As per the official schedule on page 1 of the notification, the exam will be conducted on the same day in two shifts:

• Paper 1: 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM
• Paper 2: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
