Candidates who are not satisfied with the answers can raise objections against the provisional answers. Objections can be submitted with proper proof on or before 17th January 2026. To submit an objection, candidates need to pay the required fee for each question using credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. Steps to Raise Objections to UGC NET Answer Key 2026
- Enter your application number, date of birth, and the security PIN shown on the screen, then click submit.
- Click on View Question Paper to see your marked responses and to view or challenge the answers.
- The questions will appear with question IDs in order.
- The option shown under Correct Option(s) is the answer given by NTA.
- To challenge an answer, select one or more option IDs by ticking the checkbox.
- After selecting the option, scroll down and click on Save your Claims to continue.
- A page will show all the option IDs you have challenged.
- Upload supporting proof by clicking Choose File and upload all documents in a single PDF file.
- Click on Save your Claims and Pay Fee, or choose Modify your Claims if you need to make changes.
- After saving, a page will appear showing your submitted challenges.
- Click on Pay Fee to complete the process.
- Select the payment mode and pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 200 for each question challenged.
