OSSSC Forest Guard Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process has three steps. First, OSSSC will hold a written exam for Forest Guard and Forester posts, and based on the marks, candidates will be chosen for the next stage. After that, selected candidates will appear for physical tests, which include physical measurement and physical efficiency, and about three times the number of total vacancies will be called according to the merit list. In the last stage, candidates who clear the physical test will be called for document verification, where they must show their original documents to confirm the details filled in the application form.
OSSSC Forest Guard & Forester Physical Test 2026
OSSSC Forest Guard & Forester Physical Test involves two parts: the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for running and the Physical Standard Test (PST) for height and chest (males).
Based on the marks scored in the OSSSC Forest Guard written exam, candidates will be shortlisted as per merit, up to three times the number of vacancies, and called for the Physical Measurement Test. This PMT is only to check physical standards, and candidates who do not meet the required height and chest measurements will be removed from the selection process.
