This is the last chance for people who want to become teachers to fill out the online form. CTET is also called the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a national-level exam held by the Central Board of Secondary Education to check who is fit to work as a teacher in central government schools like KVS, NVS, and others. Through CTET 2025, candidates are tested for teaching ability before getting teaching jobs.
The CTET exam has two papers. Paper 1 is for those who want to teach young children from Classes 1 to 5. Paper 2 is for those who want to teach students from Classes 6 to 8. Candidates can appear for one paper or both, based on the class level they want to teach.

Candidates who want to apply for teaching jobs from Classes 1 to 8 need to fill out the CTET 2025 application form through the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education. As per the schedule, the last date to apply online for the CTET exam for the Feb 2026 cycle is 18th December 2025. After this date, the application link will be closed by CBSE. Once the link is closed, no forms will be accepted in any situation.
Steps to fill CTET 2025
- Visit the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education at https://ctet.nic.in.
- Fill in the registration form by entering details like your state, identity type, name, date of birth, and gender.
- Enter your Aadhaar number, select your category, and choose your employment status and qualifying exam status.
- Fill in the complete online application form and create a password.
- After submitting the form, a registration number or application number will be generated.
- Enter your educational details, including your latest qualification and percentage.
- Upload your scanned photo and signature as mentioned in the notification.
- Move to the payment page and pay the CTET exam fee through online mode using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Pay the application fee as per your category.
- Check all the details filled in the CTET Application Form 2025 carefully.
- Take a printout of the confirmation page and keep it for future reference.
