- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks is required (50% for OBC, SC, ST, and PWD categories) from a recognized university.
- Candidates who are in the final year of their Master’s degree or are awaiting their results can apply provisionally.
- Candidates who have completed a PhD after their Master’s degree are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the required marks.

How To Apply For Assam SLET 2026 – Step By Step Process
- Step 1: Apply online at www.sletneonline.co.in.
- Keep the following scanned copies ready:
- Passport-sized coloured photograph (attested and signed)
- Signature
- Master’s degree certificate and mark sheet (attested)
- Category/PWD/EWS certificate, if applicable
- Photo and signature size should be 5–50 KB and properly cropped.
- After submission, you will receive a unique Application ID. Note it carefully for future use (Admit Card download, etc.).
- Candidates in the final year/semester must download and fill the attestation format, get it signed by the Head of Department, and upload the scanned copy.
