WB Primary Teacher Eligibility 2025
The eligibility criteria for WB Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2025 as mentioned in the notification is as discussed below.
To be eligible for WB Teacher Recruitment 2025, candidates must have completed any one of the following educational qualifications:
- Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Higher Secondary with 45% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Higher Secondary with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed.
- Higher Secondary with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Note: Candidates must have cleared the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by WBBPE as per NCTE rules.
Candidates applying for WB Teacher Recruitment 2025 must be between 18 and 40 years of age.
Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (A & B), Ex-Servicemen (EC), PwD, and Para Teachers as per the government rules.
