OSSSC CRE Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

There will be 100 questions asked from Mathematics, General Studies, English, Odia, and Logical Reasoning

• Each subject carries 20 questions.
• Each correct answer gives you 1 mark
• Each incorrect attempt subtracts 0.33 marks
• The duration of the exam is 1.5 hours

Candidates appearing for the OSSSC CRE Exam 2025 must follow these instructions on the exam day:

What to Carry to the Exam Hall

• Printed Admit Card downloaded from the OSSSC website.
• Original Photo ID proof.
• If the admit card has no photo or a blurred photo, carry a recent passport-size photograph.
• A transparent blue/black ballpoint pen.

For PwD Candidates

• Valid PwD certificate.
• Scribe must carry their own valid ID, photo, and an undertaking form.
• Extra time of 60 minutes will be provided as per rules.

What Not to Bring

• Do not carry correcting fluids, erasers, blades, books, notes, loose papers, jewelry, or any electronic items like mobile phones, smartwatches, etc.
• Possession of any prohibited item will lead to immediate disqualification.

Reporting Time

• Reach the exam center at least 1.5 hours before the exam starts.
• Entry will not be allowed after 10 minutes of the gate closing time mentioned on the admit card.
