Application Fees
For RBI Grade B 2025, the application fee has been set at Rs. 850/- for candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories. On the other hand, applicants from the SC, ST, and PwD categories are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 100/- only.

Age Limit (as on 01/09/2025)
For RBI Grade B 2025, the Reserve Bank of India has set the minimum age limit at 21 years, while the maximum age limit is 30 years. This means candidates must have been born not earlier than September 2, 1995, and not later than September 1, 2004, to be eligible. For candidates holding M.Phil. and PhD qualifications, the upper age limit is relaxed to 32 years and 34 years, respectively

Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview round on the basis of their aggregate marks in Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III of the Phase II exam. The interview itself carries 50 marks.

RBI Grade B 2025 Salary
The RBI Grade B 2025 pay scale is structured as Rs. 78,450-4050(9)-114900-EB-4050(2)-123000-4650(4)-141600 (16 years). This means:
- The initial basic pay is Rs. 78,450/-.
- An increment of Rs. 4050/- is added each year for the first 9 years, reaching Rs. 1,14,900/-.
- After 9 years, the officer moves into the Executive Band (EB), with a basic pay of Rs. 1,14,900/-.
- For the next 2 years, there is an annual increment of Rs. 4050/-, taking the pay to Rs. 1,23,000/-.
- For the following 4 years, the increment becomes Rs. 4650/-, with the maximum basic pay reaching Rs. 1,41,600/- (if no promotion is received).
In addition to the basic pay, officers also receive various allowances and perks such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Family Allowance, Telephone Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, and others, making RBI Grade B one of the most lucrative banking jobs in India.
