IB Security Assistant Age Limit (28.09.2025)
As of September 28, 2025, the minimum age requirement for the position of Security Assistant (Motor Transport) is 18 to 27 years old. Candidates must make sure that the age range listed in the official announcement corresponds to their date of birth. According to government regulations, candidates who belong to restricted categories and specific special groups are eligible for relaxations in the upper age restriction.

- Experience operating a motor vehicle for a minimum of one year following the issuance of a current driver’s license.
- possession of the state’s domicile certificate that the applicant is attempting to obtain.
Any Central, State, or Semi-Governmental Department, Organization, Institute, Corporation, PSU, Autonomous Bodies, or Registered Firms should grant the Experience Certificate of Driving for a minimum of one year following the issuance of a valid driver’s license.

IB Security Assistant 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for IB Security Assistant (Motor Transport) Recruitment 2025 will be held in four stages, and candidates must clear each stage to progress further:
- Tier-I Written Examination (100 Marks): Objective-type test covering General Awareness, Driving Rules, Reasoning, Aptitude, and English.
- Tier-II Exam (50 Marks): Includes a Driving Test and Motor Mechanism Test, followed by an Interview. Candidates will be assessed on vehicle handling, identifying and fixing minor defects, and overall driving skills.

IB Security Assistant salary
The post of IB Security Assistant (Motor Transport) falls under the Level-3 pay scale (Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100) as per the 7th CPC pay matrix. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will receive a Special Security Allowance (SSA) of 20% of the basic pay, making the salary package more attractive compared to other Group ‘C’ posts.
Employees are also eligible for cash compensation in lieu of duty performed on holidays, up to a maximum of 30 days. Along with this, they will receive central government allowances such as HRA, DA, Transport Allowance, medical facilities, pension benefits, and other perks as applicable.
